Panda

Panda is Finland's second largest confectionery manufacturer. The factory is located in Vaajakoski, Jyväskylä. Panda is especially known for chocolate candy and licorice. It is currently part of Orkla Confectionery & Snacks.

Panda was originally owned by SOK. It was later operated under the name Panda Oy after the factory management bought it for itself. Panda was later acquired by Orkla Foods Finland, part of the Norwegian Orkla Group. At the end of 2013, Panda merged with Chips Ab, which was named Orkla Confectionery & Snacks Finland Ab.

Panda accounts for eight percent of the confectionery sold in Finland. Panda is the market leader in licorice products.
